Cliff Notes

I just heard an ABC News Report on the Fiscal Cliff that claimed if the President and Congress don’t act, we will go back to the Bush Era Tax Rates. What a stunning obfuscation! We are currently under the Bush Era Tax Rates which until the Democrats CRA destroyed the economy, were bringing record revenues to the Treasury.

No, ABC; after 1/1/2013, we will be going back to the Clinton Era tax rates. Too bad we won’t go back to the Clinton Era 18% of GDP spending (now 25%).

Don’t Blame Romney?!?!

Ann Coulter tells us not to blame Romney?!?!  Is she kidding?

I’m sorry Ann, but you are crazy?  You sound like a Democrat.  You sound like Obama.  Romney’s version of “It’s Bush’s Fault!”

Romney was “perfect” candidate?  Your Nuts!  A perfect candidate wins.  Obama is a flawed candidate and he won!

Obama “quadrupled” gas prices?  It was $1.87 at BHO Inaugural; tell me oh brilliant one, at what point were gas prices $7.48.  Now you just look ignorant.

“Blaming the candidate may be fun”? Oh, so like Obama, “The buck stops with you.”

“Bachmann fighting for political life”?  She WON in a newly gerrymandered district; your guy lost!  I’ll bet she went to the mat

Akin is the problem? You and your ilk that didn’t stand by him were the problem!  You and your pals writing commercials for McCaskill were the problem – that she could just play the words of her opponent’s ‘compatriots’ to beat him up.

A republican party that doesn’t know to stay out of the weeds on abortion is the problem.  It’s simple, “My opponent kills babies; I don’t want to kill babies.”

“The last two weeks of the campaign were consumed with discussions of women’s “reproductive rights,” No, the last week was spent discussing Christie throwin’ lots of love to Obama.

Comments on abortion are the problem?  The Republican Party platform is 100% pro-life.  Change the platform if you don’t want candidates to follow it.

Oh, a straw man ‘band fan’ comparison?  No Purist Conservative thinks like that; maybe you do, but not a Conservative.  Wake up Ann; we got behind Romney even after the attack on Grass Roots and Ron Paul that Romney pulled at the Convention.

So you like the band analogy?  Okay, then here’s what it really is regarding Akin.  It’s really like being in the band and writing a bad song.  In this case, instead of telling him it was a bad song, you tried to throw him out of the band after he had written 12 great songs.

Your guy lost for one reason and one reason only; he wouldn’t go to the mat.  McCain wouldn’t go to the mat.  Romney wouldn’t go to the mat.  Obama went to the mat – twice – and he won.

KMBC Reporter Purposely Assembles Alternate Reality

Below, is a letter send by the Jackson County Republican Club to the local Kansas City, MO ABC affiliate after the station’s reporter attended a Todd Akin press conference organized by the club. The group continues to wait for a response from KMBC indicating whether or not the reporter’s actions were the standard operating procedures of the station:

Dear Ms. Smith

A week ago at the Lee’s Summit Republican headquarters, TV Channel 9, among others, sent a news team to a Congressman Todd Akin, (candidate for US Senate) press conference. KMBC was represented by a cameraman and commentator Michael Mahoney. A completely remarkable tableau then unfolded. Newscaster Mahoney gave detailed and frequent instructions to his cameraman throughout the conference/interview by hand signals. If parts of the Congressman’s remarks were controversial, Mahoney would signal to keep the camera rolling. If the remarks seemed to give traction for favorable reception to a wide audience, the cameraman immediately received instructions to cut the recording. The actions of Mr. Mahoney were so obvious and blatantly biased for an unfavorable news clip to those present, that several independent observers afterward came together to voice their amazement that a news channel of KMBC’s reputation would engage in such practices.

Absence of Malice, a popular motion picture from the early eighties, had a charged scene where Paul Newman confronted Miami Herald reporter, Sally Fields, with flawed journalism. Viewers were given the defining line when Paul Newman angrily retorted, “… the truth? You don’t write the truth. You write what you think.” Mr. Mahoney’s actions revealed a more significant transgression: A week ago this reporter put together before those present an alternate reality. He assembled what he wanted the public to think.

We bring this to your attention for your response. We would like to know if Mr. Mahoney’s actions correspond with the management policies of KMBC Channel 9?

Sincerely,

Jim Gamble – President

The Jackson County Republican Club

Rience Priebus Is Such A…

Pardon my language here, but Rience Priebus is such a PUSSY!

When Soledad O’Brien asked him if Clinton could do alot of damage to Romney/Ryan, the answer is:

Bill Clinton, in the Oval Office, inserted a cigar into the vagina of a 21-year-old white house intern, ejaculated on her dress, and lied under oath.  This disgusting man, accused repeatedly of rape, having the moral turpitude of Sodomite, is the titular leader of a depraved party that first and foremost believes in the murder of unborn human beings while fighting proudly to save the life of the most heinous of murderers and rapists.

No, I don’t think Bill Clinton is a problem.

Hook. Line. Sinker.

The Eastwood strategy was brilliant!!  Look how much time the MSM has spent attacking Clint today when they would have been attacking Romney all day instead.

Hook. Line. Sinker.

The MSM took the whole day to pontificate about how “bizarre” the speech was. MSNBC called it “embarrassing” and a “disaster”.  Goon Michael Moore chimed in to say it “will be played to audiences a hundred years from now as the Most Bizarre Convention Moment Ever.”

(I hope like hell it is!)

No one took one second to think that BOTH Romney and Eastwood are BRILLIANT and the MSM got played-like-a-fiddle Thursday night.

How many acting awards has Eastwood won?!?!!  How many hostile situations has Romney been in?!?! How many scripts has Eastwood written?!?!  How many business plans has Mitt authored?!?!

And, you think they are so stupid and naive to put that out there not knowing how the MSM would react.

An empty chair and an invisible president saying ‘go ~blank~ yourself’.

Priceless.

Thank you Mitt Romney.  Thank you Clint Eastwood.

Again… …PRICELESS!

Tell Advertisers: Ross / Stephanopoulos / Producers Must Go

The Cape County Tea Party staged a Facebook Event asking Conservatives to watch the Saturday 7/28/12 edition of Good Morning America and track the advertisers hawking their wares during the show.  This was in response to the smear of the Tea Party orchestrated by Brian Ross as well as (obviously) George Stephanopoulos the show’s producers.

For some of us it was a painful experience — especially during the seemingly 3-hour segment on Dancing With The Stars.

We realize that most advertisers are simply buying a package, and don’t really concern themselves much about content of the programming.  However, if Ross / Stephanopoulos et al had smeared the homosexual community, there would certainly be a backlash and advertisers would be put on notice.  If the Democrat’s KKK was being advocated, their would be a powerful citizen response.

So, below is the list of advertisers that I was able to draw from the show that day.  Not surprisingly, I found it hard to remember to watch/focus on the commercials.

I urge you to find one advertiser with whom you do business.  Take 5 minutes to let them know that you don’t appreciate them supporting ABC, Ross, Stephanopolus, and their producers’ smear of the Tea Party.  The advertisers certainly wouldn’t stand for a smear on the homosexual community or advocacy of the Democrats’ KKK; why would they stand for a smear on the civic, patriotic, peaceful Tea Party movement with which 48% of their potential customers agree?

Only In New America

Received via e-mail:

UAFF.us

1) Only in the New America could the people who believe in balancing the budget and sticking by the country’s Constitution be thought of as “extremists.”

2) Only in the New America could people claim that the government still discriminates against black Americans when we have a black President, a black Attorney General, and roughly 18% of the federal workforce is black while 12% of the population is black.

3) Only in the New America could we have had the two people most responsible for our tax code, Timothy Geithner, the head of the Treasury Department and Charles Rangel who once ran the Ways and Means Committee, BOTH turn out to be tax cheats who are in favor of higher taxes.

4) Only in the New America can we have terrorists kill people in the name of Allah and have the media react by fretting that Muslims might be harmed by the backlash.

5) Only in the New America would we make people who want to legally become American citizens wait for years in their home countries and pay tens of thousands of dollars for the privilege while we discuss letting anyone who sneaks into the country illegally just become American citizens.

6) Only in the New America could rich politicians talk about the greed of the rich job creators at a $25,000 a plate campaign fund raising event.

7) Only in the New America could you need to present a driver’s license to cash a check or buy alcohol, but not to vote.

8) Only in the New America could people demand the government investigate whether oil companies are gouging the public because the price of gas went up when the return on equity invested in a major U.S. oil company (Marathon Oil) is less than half of a company making tennis shoes (Nike).

9) Only in the New America could the government collect more tax dollars from the people than any nation in recorded history, still spend a trillion dollars more than it has per year for total spending of $7 million PER MINUTE … and complain that it doesn’t have nearly enough money.

10) Only in the New America could the rich folks who pay 86% of all income taxes be accused of not paying their “fair share” by the increasing percentage of people (47%) who pay NO income taxes at all.
